Results of the Proof of Concept (PoC) call published

The results of the second deadline of the Proof of Concept (PoC) call (ERC-2022-PoC2) are available. Of the 120 proposals submitted, 55 are earmarked for funding. The successful applicants are distributed across 14 countries. Researchers at institutions in Germany were particularly successful at this deadline with 9 PoC grants. Researchers in Israel were also able to acquire 9 PoC grants, followed by Spain and France with 7 PoCs each and the Netherlands with 6 projects.

ERC grantees who wish to explore the innovation potential of their ERC results over a period of 12 months with a lump sum of 150,000 euros can apply for a PoC. There is an annual PoC call with three deadlines spread throughout the year.
