In 2021, the former German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) launched a workshop series on the gender dimension in research. The workshop series aims to support the implementation of gender equality in research and innovation in Europe and to inspire researchers and research managers to address gender issues in their projects.
Next workshops
Between 2021 and 2024, the Contact Point Women in EU Research organised workshops on the gender dimension in research twice a year, with rotating thematic areas. As of 2025, one workshop per year will be held, which will no longer be limited to one subject area but will cover several disciplines. The next workshop will take place on 24 June 2025. Registration is now open.
Through our newsletter (in German) and this website, we will keep you posted on the latest news on this and other issues.
