The European Commission has updated the “Living Guidelines on the Responsible Use of Generative AI in Research (currently available in English only). The third version is aimed at researchers, research institutions and funding organisations to support the responsible use of AI. Key aspects include accountability for scientific results, transparency in the use of AI, the simultaneous protection of research data and intellectual property, and potential risks associated with the use of AI.
