On 10 December 2025, the European Commission appointed six new members to the ERC Scientific Council. Among the newly appointed members are two researchers based at institutions in Germany.
On 10 December 2025, the European Commission appointed six new members to the ERC Scientific Council. Among the newly appointed members are two researchers based at institutions in Germany.
On 10 December 2025, the European Commission appointed six new members to the ERC Scientific Council. Among the newly appointed members are two researchers based at institutions in Germany: Nobel Prize laureate in Chemistry Emmanuelle Charpentier (Director of the Max Planck Unit for the Science of Pathogens) and Eleftheria Zeggini (Director of the Institute of Translational Genomics at Helmholtz Munich). Their mandate will take effect on 1 January 2026 and will initially run for a period of four years.
