ERC President Leptin explains changes to the ERC evaluation procedure

In a recently published report, ERC President Maria Leptin explains the adjustments to the evaluation process in 2026 and 2027. For the currently open calls (StG, CoG, SyG), the following changes are particularly relevant:

• new application format (separating idea and feasibility),
• no feasibility assessment in Step 1,
• revised feedback structure for applicants
