The application period for the Starting Grant Call 2026 has opened on 9 July 2025. The respective deadline for submitting proposals is 14 October 2025. The National Contact Point ERC (NCP ERC) offers support at any time during the application submission process. For individual advice on particular proposals, these must be submitted to the NCP by 16 September 2025.
A total of EUR 705 million is available under this call, which will be distributed among an estimated number of 450 grants. In the case of a successful proposal, the grant agreement would be signed on 22 December 2026.
