For the 2023 Proof of Concept call, results are now available also for the third cut-off. Out of 259 applications evaluated, 102 are earmarked for funding. This concludes the 2023 PoC call, which consisted of three deadlines. In total, 240 projects have been selected for funding. The success rate is 43 percent. Most of the PoC grants in the 2023 call went to researchers based at institutions in Germany (40). Applicants from Spain (30 PoCs), the UK (26), Italy (25), France (22) and the Netherlands (20) were very successful, too. More information can be found in the ERC press release .
ERC grantees who wish to explore the innovation potential of their ERC results over a period of 12 months with a lump sum of 150,000 euros can apply for a PoC. On 16 November 2023, the ERC PoC 2024 call opened. The ERC Work Programme 2024 only foresees two deadlines per year. ERC grantees interested in applying for PoC can do so either until 14 March 2024 or 17 September 2024.
